Saw her today in Amsterdam. 79 years old and the voice is still strong. A pure, elegant, sincere Lady. Thank You Gladys. Thank you for your endurance, your example. You have opened doors for many. My generation is reaping the benefits of your sacrifices. Let's not forget that Gladys still had to use the back door to enter a concert hall in the 60s.

I grew up in the 70's listening to KGFJ Soul Music radio station in L. A.. Never had a great station like that since. That is where my love of SOUL music came from. If you feel the music, you love the music. Thank you Gladys Knight!!!
